SFS Select is excited to announce our exciting new venture - we’re opening a brand new online shop selling high-quality second-hand furniture from our new premises in Monkmoor, Shrewsbury, in the New Year. We welcome the local community to browse our selection of quality furniture, soft furnishings and homewares. We stock a variety of larger items, including second hand dining tables, sofas, wooden units and antique desks for sale, as well as soft furnishings and home accessories, including curtains, cushions, and rugs; as well as crockery, cutlery, and other kitchen essentials..

Shrewsbury Furniture Scheme was established in 1994. Our key focus was, and still is, providing for people on low incomes with quality, affordable, reuse furniture and household goods. As we began to grow, in 2014, we decided to open our own charity shop in Castle Street, Shrewsbury, which housed more quality, affordable, pre-loved furniture available for sale to the general public. Whilst generating an income stream for the scheme for many years, sadly, the high running costs of the premises and a downturn in donations meant that the shop became untenable and the doors closed at the end of November 2025.

With SFS Select, every purchase made helps keep the main warehouse very affordable to give back to the local community, keeping our charity running and able to provide for people in need.

How to Donate?
We are very grateful to receive donations of all good-quality household items, furniture and soft furnishings. We also accept donations of white goods such as fridges, freezers, washing machines and tumble dryers, which are normally housed in our Warehouse just across from our new Select building on Monkmoor Road. For larger or bulky items, we are happy to arrange collections within the Shrewsbury area. Please contact a member of the team for more details on this.
